Marsha Elaine Merritt-Hall, 54, of North Vernon, died at 5:08 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, January 8, 2022, from 4 until 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services Sunday, January 9, 2022.

Ms. Merritt-Hall was a 1985 graduate of Columbus East High School and received her associate’s degree from Indiana Business College. She enjoyed playing softball, swimming, listening to music, going to the beach and dolphins. Ms. Merritt-Hall especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Clearwater, Florida with her best friend.

Born March 16, 1967, in Columbus, Ms. Merritt-Hall was the daughter of Ellen (Davis) Baker and Kenneth Baker.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda (Matt Waggoner) Villarreal and Brandi (Christna Wilfong) Parker, both of North Vernon; mother, Ellen Baker of Louisville, Kentucky; brother, John Baker of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Olivia Villarreal, Sophia Villarreal and Serena Parker, all of North Vernon; and her ex-husband, William Parker of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her father.
