Mary Lee Woodall, 72, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:57 a.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born May 30, 1949, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Franklin and Mary Beatrice (Lucas) Kyle. She married Gary M. Woodall on November 30, 1981, in Chickasha, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death on April 25, 2008.

Mary attended North Vernon High School and had worked at McDonalds and a nursing home in Oklahoma. She had formerly attended Rush Branch United Methodist Church in Jennings County. Mary enjoyed fishing, camping, outdoors, and playing the card game TONK.

Survivors include her sons, Joseph (Wanda) Cassetty of Gresham, Oregon, Leland Cassetty and Robert Cassetty of Dublin; daughters, Tina Mae (Paul) Gross of Cambridge City, Beatrice Marie Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas and Mary Ellen (Reuben) Davis of North Vernon; stepson, Gary Don (Dana) Woodall; brother, Hedggie (Brenda) Kyle of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Cora Ritchie and Serena Ritchie, both of North Vernon, Amanda (Chris) Justice of Cambridge City, Samantha Cassetty and Rose Cassetty, both of Gresham, Oregon and Kaylee Brown of Little Rock, Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Justice and Jade Justice, both of Cambridge City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and grandchild, Andrew Biby.

A funeral service for Mary will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Mary through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society.
