Roland Curtis Weston, 69, of Scottsburg died at 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 3 p.m. at Dove-Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 11 a.m. until time of the services. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Weston was a self-employed owner/operator truck driver for 45 years before retiring in December of 2020 and was the former owner of the Log Cabin in Vernon. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg. Mr. Weston enjoyed working on hot rod cars, fishing, and lawn work.

Born November 27, 1952, in Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. Weston was the son of Earl and Martha Cash Weston. He married Ada Owens November 18, 2000, in Austin and she survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Anthony J. (Stephanie) Hillen of North Pole, Alaska, Ronald A. Bowling of Jeffersonville, and Ritchie (Kelly Eder) Bowling of Bloomington; daughter, Misty Weston of Glasgow, Kentucky; brother, Garrett Weston of Madison; grandchildren, Cullen and Kaven Eder, both of Glasgow, Kentucky, Owen Bowling of Jeffersonville, and Lucy, Max, and Thomas Bowling, all of Bloomington, and Samantha (Gilbert) Modlin of North Pole, Alaska; and a great-grandchild, Lily Modlin of North Pole, Alaska.

Mr. Weston was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Michael Weston and Randy Raub.
