Carl Aldridge, 66, of Bedford, Kentucky, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in La Grange, Kentucky.
Her was born on Aug. 25, 1955, in La Grange, to Robert and Mary Magdelene Smith Aldridge. He was a heavy equipment operator for MBI and Atomic Transport. He loved deer hunting and his dog, Dazy Mae. He was a horse trainer and was known as the “Horse Whisperer.”
Survivors include his mother of Bedford; his wife of 22 years, Lisa L. Kleinhenz Aldridge of Bedford; a daughter, Brittany Baker of Bedford; three sons, Michael Aldridge and Bradley Aldridge, both of Bedford and Joshua Baker, currently stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, with the US Army; two sisters, Mary Jane Sibley and Vickie Payton, both of Bedford; two brothers, Timothy Aldridge and Steven Aldridge, both of Bedford; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford with burial at the Bedford Cemetery. Visitation is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 and 9 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
