Carol Ann Neal Golay, 53, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, at St. Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

She was born on May 19, 1968, in Indianapolis, to Charles Estle and Patricia Ann “Patti” Bliss Neal. She was raised in Indianapolis and was a 1985 graduate of Beech Grove High School. He was employed as a dispatcher for Triple A, Cooks Towing and Hicks Towing in the Indianapolis community for several years. She was working on becoming an advocate for sexual assault victims. She was a Christian and enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music — especially Stevie Nicks — and watching TV.

Survivors include her children, Donald Carson, Tabitha Carson and Andrew Carson, all of Indianapolis; her stepchildren, Travis Golay of Beech Grove, Indiana and Heather Arthur of Indianapolis; her brothers, Terry Neal of Tampa, Florida and Danny Neal of Indianapolis; and 12 grandchildren and her several nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Charlene Renee Bherns; her grandparents, Ada Roland Lock, Harold L. Bliss, Charles Neal and Luther and Beatrice Dimple Carnes Neal; and a grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery there. Visitation is noon until time of services on at the funeral home.
