Clara May Campbell Carrico, 68, of Carrollton, Kentucky, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at University Hospital in Louisville.

She was born June 11, 1952, in Oldham County, Kentucky, to Richard Edward Campbell and Jeanette Loraine Campbell. She had formerly worked in the hotel industry in the housekeeping department. She was a member of the Providence Baptist Church and a former member of the Carrollton American Legion Post No. 41 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time and talking to her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, Jason Allen Carrico and Richard Ward “Zeke” Carrico, both of Carrollton; a daughter, Suzanne Michelle Carrico of Louisville; three sisters, Lucy Merriman of Manchester, Tennessee, Mary Campbell of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Doris Price of Bedford, Indiana; two brothers, Allen Campbell of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Jerry Campbell of Warsaw, Kentucky; and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Calvin “Chippy” Campbell.

Funeral services will be private due to current COVID-19 restrictions.
