Jamie Lea Cohen, age 44, of Vevay, Indiana, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at her home there.
She was born June 4, 1976, in Cincinnati, to Edwin Walter Anthony Bartholomew Cohen and Melinda Ann Katherine West Bradford. She was raised in Cincinnati and attended Norwood High School and Scarlet Oaks Trade School. She was formerly employed for five years by Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana, and attended Riverview Baptist Church near Vevay. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing trivia, listening to music, riding her bike and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Cohen of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; a son, Garret Anthony Thee of Vevay; her sisters, Rebecca Mattke and Maggie Mullins, both of Vevay, Jodi Cohen of Warsaw, Kentucky and Allison Bradford of Frankfort, Kentucky; her brother, Jason Cohen of Madison, Indiana; and a grandson, her nephews and niece and her great nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her maternal-grandparents, James Sylvester and Irene Una McClinton West; and her paternal-grandparents, Walter and Lois Campbell Cohen.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing are both required and funeral home capacity is limited to 25 people at a time.
