Kimberly Ann “Kim” Wise, 59, of Hanover, Indiana, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville after battling COVID-19.

She was born on April 17, 1962, in Madison, Indiana, to Robert F. Wise and Naomi Elizabeth Jenkins Wise Mack. She resided most of her life in Madison except for three years in Florida. She graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1981 and worked early in life at Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center and most recently with Arvin Sango. She loved her dog, Bella, and her cat, LaGray. She liked to read, spend time at the river and gamble at the casino boat. She was a breast cancer survivor.

Survivors include her mother of Madison; her companion of 38 years, Steven Paul Jones of Hanover; her stepdaughter, Sarah Denman of Chicago; her sisters, Robin Varela of Daphne, Alabama and Angela Richart of North Vernon, Indiana; her brother, Robert “Bob” Wise of Madison; and 12 nephews and nieces, 12 great nieces and great nephews, an aunt and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father; her paternal grandparents, Raymond A. Wise and Freda M. Williams Wise; her maternal grandparents, Howard Jenkins and Jennie Jenkins; and her stepdad, Donald R. Mack.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre-Hanover Chapel in Hanover. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. Visitation is 1 p.m. until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
