Lisa K. Harmon Claypoole, 58, of Florence, Indiana, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
She was born on Dec. 7, 1963, in Carrollton, Kentucky, to Gayle Dean and Ruth Ann Farrell Harmon. She was raised in Madison, Indiana, and attended Madison Consolidated High School. She married George William Claypoole on March 24, 1989, in Vevay, Indiana. She was employed by US Shoe Factory and Ogle Haus in Vevay for several years and later by Dorman Products in Warsaw, Kentucky, until retiring in 2017 after several years of service. She enjoyed watching game shows, playing Bingo, playing with her grandchildren and spending time with family.
Survivors include her father of Florence; her husband of Florence; a son, Jeremy Romans of Florence; her daughters, Tara Romans and Tiffany Claypoole, both of Florence; her brother, Timothy Gayle “Tim” Harmon Sr. of Florence; her sisters, Pam Mays and Debbie Cunningham, both of Florence; and four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother on Sept. 20, 2019; a son, Justin William Claypoole on July 13, 1997; and two nephews and other family.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, in Vevay. Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery there. Visitation is 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
