Pauline M. Rogers, 85, of Rexville, Indiana, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana.

She was born on Aug. 16, 1936, to Harry and Naomi Thomas Palmer, in the Marble Corner community of what is now part of the Jefferson Proving Ground.

She was a 1955 graduate of New Marion High School and worked in the dietary department of the Muscatatuck State Hospital at Butlerville for 17 years, retiring in 1998.

Survivors include a son, John Rogers of Madison; a daughter, Linda Walker of Rexville; a brother, Leroy Palmer of North Vernon, Indiana; a sister, Vadah Hopkins of Madison; and six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harry and Paul Palmer; and a sister, Violet.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, at the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles, Indiana, with burial in the Marble Corner Cemetery at Versailles. Visitation is 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
