S.G. Westrick, 87, of Milton, Kentucky, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

He was born on Oct. 7, 1934, in Trimble County, Kentucky, to Tony and Virgie Henry Westrick. He married Georgia Carol Alexander on July 11, 1953, in Madison. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years and later retired from Indiana Trucking. In his earlier years, he enjoyed taking weekend trips with his wife on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and going to horse shows and entertaining friends on his patio. He was a long-time member of the Moose Lodge in Carrollton, where he served as governor for a period of time. Recently, he enjoyed spending time outside and visiting the Madison Moose Lodge No. 524.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years of Milton; his children, Esstil Lee Westrick, Sharon McAtee and Clifton Webb “C.W.” Westrick, all of Milton, and Dorothy Regina Westrick, of Carrollton; and five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin daughters, Martha and Mary; and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison’s hilltop with interment to follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Milton. Visitation is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 2 p.m. until the time service Saturday at the funeral home.
