Raymond Thomas “Tom” Boaz, 40, of Milton, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the Richwood Nursing and Rehab in La Grange, Kentucky, after an 18-month battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 2, 1980, in Madison, Indiana, to Raymond Lewis Boaz. He resided all of his life in the Milton community and graduated from Trimble County High School and attended school for diesel mechanic certification. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Madison and had owned and operated Boaz Auto Diesel Repair and Boaz Towing and Recovery in Milton for 20 years. He liked to build vehicles, hunt, fish, camp and was known for his strength.
Survivors include his daughters, Ashlynn Rae Boazand Madisynn Marie Boaz, both of Milton; his sisters, Rebecca Lynn Boaz Richardson of Hanover, Indiana and Olivia Rose Boaz of Bedford, Kentucky; his brother, Jonathan Wayne Boaz of Milton; and an aunt, a nephew and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 3, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton. Visitation is 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
