William Bernard Miller, 87, of Carrollton, Kentucky, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, in Cincinnati.

He was born on Nov.15,1933, to Sterling and Berdie Clifton Miller. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, achieving the rank of sergeant and was honorably discharged. He was a retired owner and salesman at Miller’s Auto Sales in Carrollton, which he operated with his son, Dean. Before working in the car business, he had farmed, worked at the former Butler Furniture Factory in Carrollton, and at a service station. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton and an avid University of Kentucky fan.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy McBurney of North Bend, Ohio; a son, Dean Miller of Carrollton; and six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Chris Crase; three sisters, Cozetta Tilley, Wilma True, Stella Ogburn and Anna Lee Wright; and a brother, Harrison Miller.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 15, at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Visitation is 10:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home.
