Several Hanover track and field athletes posted impressive performances at a last-chance meet at Lee University in Tennessee over the weekend.

Erin Browning won the women’s hammer throw with a toss of 50.98 meters, Cooper Hanson broke a 42-year-old record in the men’s 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.36, Reece Hunter placed eighth in the high jump at 1.85 meter, and Zaleeya Martin posted of a time of 12.55 in the women’s 100-meter dash.

Hanover athletes will have one final chance to post qualifying times and distances for the national championships when they compete at North Central College on Wednesday in Naperville, Illinois.
