Switzerland County’s girls swim team scored a win in a quad meet at home on Saturday.
The Pacers, who posted five individual wins, scored 281 points to best South Ripley (218), Silver Creek (111) and Lanesville (63). The Switzerland County boys finished second with 72 points. South Ripley took first with 221.
Top finishes for the Switzerland girls were: Ava Cole, first, 100 back and second, 100 fly; Kaelin Taylor, first, 500 free and third, 200 free; Aubrey Crepin, first, 100 breast and second, 200 IM; Cole, Brooklyn Flanders, Taylor and Carly Bennett, first, 200 medley relay; Crepin, Flanders, Bennett and Taylor, first, 400 free relay; Flanders, second, 50 free and third, 100 free; Amber Detmer, second, 100 breast; Emily Oatman, Detmer, Molly Hicks and Crepin, second, 200 medley relay; Oatman, Hicks, Detmer and Cole, second, 200 free relay; Oatman, third, 50 free and third, 100 back; Hicks, third, 200 IM; and Bennett, third, 500 free.
Top finishes for the Switzerland boys were: Nathan Furnish, first, 200 free and first, 100 breast; and Caleb Ridener, first, 100 back.
Switzerland County travels to Southwestern on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
