Trimble County out-hit Sacred Heart 11-7 but suffered a 4-3 loss in softball on Thursday.
Emma Ginn was 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Raiders while Jaelynn Holbrook was 2-for-4, Alyssa Ritchie was 2-for-3, Alanna Washington had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Hannah Chilton had a hit and an RBI, and Kaylee Payton, Maddie Nixon and Addison Mosley each had hits.
Ritchie suffered the loss after giving up three earned runs on seven hits in seven innings with a strikeout and a walk.
On Friday, Trimble closed out the regular season with a 10-3 win over Williamstown.
Shelby Wright had a triple, a double and scored two runs for the Raiders, Ritchie was 2-for-3 with a triple, four RBIs and a run, Jocie Stucker was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Nixon had a hit, an RBI and two runs, Ginn and Chilton each had a hit and scored a run, and Washington had a hit and an RBI.
Ritchie picked up the win after allowing just one earned run on six hits in seven innings with five strikeouts and no walks.
Trimble, now 20-11 overall, finished 5-2 in North Central Kentucky Conference play. The Raiders faced Owen County in the semifinals of the 31st District Tournament at Henry County on Monday. The championship is on Tuesday.
