Scavenger Hunt: Come to the library any time during the month of April. Search high and low for clues. Get entered into the drawing for a prize. All ages welcome.

Artwork Contest: The Trimble County Public Library invites all teen patrons of the library to submit their artwork for the summer reading artwork contest. The theme is “My Bluegrass Summer”. All artwork must be submitted by April 20. The winner will be awarded $100. For more details on the contest visit www.trimblelibrary.org
Monday, April 10
Grandparent Gathering, 11 a.m.: Calling all grandparents who are also caregivers to their grandchildren! You’re invited to attend a social with other grandparents. Just a chance to gab and swap stories with other grandparents. Every second Monday of the month at 11 a.m. — a light lunch will be provided. Children are welcome.
Tuesday, April 11
Cursive Clinic, 4 p.m.: Has your child forgotten the difference between a lowercase q and j? Have they gotten lax in the handwriting department? Did they ever even learn the art of cursive in the first place? Ms. Lauren will be instructing this engaging and hands-on 8-week course. Pokémon Club, 6 p.m.: Did you know the library is a PokeStop for Pokémon Go players? Now you can join the Library Pokémon Club once a month. Bring your own cards. There will be a library deck available. No trading. Recommended ages 8 and up. No registration
Yoga, 6 p.m.: Strengthen your body and quiet your mind at yoga. This class is free and great for all levels of fitness and experience. Bring a mat and wear comfortable clothes. Ages 14+
Wednesday, April 12
Storytime, 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.: Story time is fun for all ages! Babies and toddlers will enjoy the first session at 10:30 a.m. that has songs, rhymes and open play. Preschool-aged children will enjoy the 11:30 a.m. session that still has lots of songs and rhymes, but more books. No registration required. Newcomers welcome! Each storytime is followed by Imagination Station play time.
Thursday, April 13
Coffee, Coloring & Crosswords, 10 a.m. — noon: Stop in the library to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and your choice of coloring or crossword puzzles.
Baby Storytime, 10:30 a.m.: Storytime helps to develop your child’s language and literacy skills. Enjoy songs, bounces, stories, and social time for babies and their caregivers. Recommended for ages 0 to 18 months. Refreshments will be served after the Baby Storytime.
Sound Bath, 7 p.m.: A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to NURTURE YOUR MIND AND BODY. Bring your own yoga mat and blanket. We’ll gather in the meeting room for this sound bath journey by Jennifer Beach. Recommended for ages 14+
Saturday, April 15
Gamer’s Hangout, 1 p.m.: Join us for fun games on the Nintendo Switch or the Wii. Try out new games and see how your gaming skills match up. Open to elementary and middle school students. No registration needed. Snacks provided.
Everyday Art, 1 p.m.: Join us as we create a cheerful Derby wreath for your home. Show your KY pride! One per household. Registration required.
